Worth knowing before you write

How long does a typical project take?: A focused theme build usually runs four to six weeks; a headless storefront or a custom app is longer and depends on how much of the data model already exists. I give you a week-by-week plan before anything starts, and I would rather tell you a range I can hit than a date I cannot.
Can you work with my existing theme and brand?: Yes, and often that is the cheaper path. I start by auditing what you already have — if the theme is sound, we extend it rather than rebuild it. A rebuild is a recommendation I have to justify to you, not a default.
