What I actually dofor Shopify brands.
Six things, and each of them is work I do myself rather than coordinate. If what you need is not on this list, say so anyway — the honest answer is sometimes that you want a different person.
- 01
Shopify Theme Development
Custom sections and templates built so your team can arrange them without a developer. Usually starts with an audit of what you already have — extending a sound theme is cheaper than replacing it, and I have to justify a rebuild before recommending one.
- 02
Headless Storefronts
Hydrogen or Next.js in front of Shopify, for stores that have genuinely outgrown Liquid. Worth it when you need rendering control a theme cannot give; not worth it just to be modern, and I will say so.
- 03
Shopify App Development
Embedded admin apps for the workflow no existing app fits. Built inside Shopify where your team already works, rather than as one more dashboard and one more login to forget.
- 04
Store Migrations
WooCommerce, Magento or an older Shopify build moved across with the URL history intact. Redirects get mapped before a single template is written — it is the one part of a migration that cannot be fixed afterwards.
- 05
Speed & Core Web Vitals
Finding the weight that image compression never touches: unaudited apps, render-blocking scripts, hero images loading at four times the size they display. Measured before and after, on real devices.
- 06
Integrations & Automation
ERP, fulfilment, subscriptions and the connections between them — the plumbing that quietly costs a team hours a week until somebody wires it together properly.

Platform depth
Shopify has four surfaces.I build on all of them.
Most developers who say they do Shopify mean themes. These are genuinely different skill sets, and knowing where a problem belongs is usually half of solving it.
- 01
Storefront
Themes and headless builds — custom sections a merchandiser can rearrange without a developer, or a Hydrogen front end when a theme genuinely runs out of room.

Not sure which of these you need?
Describe the problem rather than the solution and I will tell you which of these it is — or that it is none of them.
