A storefront built to carry a growing catalogue

Nordwind had outgrown the theme they launched on. Every new collection meant another one-off template, and the mobile experience had quietly become an afterthought. The brief was to rebuild the storefront so that adding a product line stopped being a development task.

One section instead of nine templates
The old store had a separate template per collection, each a copy of the last with small edits. We replaced them with one configurable section: the merchandising team now arranges blocks in the theme editor, and a new collection goes live without a deployment.
Mobile first, this time literally
Two thirds of Nordwind's traffic was on a phone, but the theme had been designed at desktop width and squeezed down. We started from the 390px layout and let it grow — which changed the navigation, the filtering and how much of the product image survives the fold.
